Born and raised in Oklahoma, Lisa Reagan began her musical training at the tender year of 5 when she began private piano instruction from Dr Clarence Burg at Oklahoma City University. In the fourth grade Lisa began studying acting at the Mummers Theater where she performed and starred in many plays. Her first professional role was in the Lyric Theatre’s Summer Stock production of "Where's Charley?" at the age of sixteen. Lisa went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree of Music in voice and piano performance from Oklahoma City University where she studied voice with Florence Birdwell who trained many stars including Kristin Chenoweth and Kelli O’Hara. After being crowned Miss Oklahoma, Lisa went on to win a talent award at the Miss America pageant. Later she earned her Master’s Degree in Opera and Vocal Performance from the University of Maryland's prestigious Opera Studio.
From 1989 to 2008, Lisa lived in the Washington D.C. and was a resident member of the Washington National Opera sharing the stage with nationally renowned performers such as Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Renee Fleming, and many others. Lisa also appeared as a soloist for many special occasions including at the White House, and for Kings, Presidents and Heads of State around the world.
In 2008 she returned to Oklahoma to take a voice faculty position at Oklahoma City University’s Wanda Bass School of Music. In 2013, and again in 2018 she was invited to perform and teach at the Salzburg Music Festival in Austria. Another facet of her professional career includes writing and composing her own original music. Her albums to date include: “Satori” (2002), “Arcana” (2006), “Noel” (2012), "Realm of Dreams" (2015), "Force of Love" (2016), "Most Wonderful Time" (2016), “Ascend” (2017) and "If Thoughts Could Tell" (2018).
Her original composition, “A l’infini,” appeared on Bravo’s reality series, “Project Runway”.
Lisa is planning to release a new album at the end of this year with Grammy nominated and Tony Award winning composer and producer Jamshied Sharifi.
